Within the intimate setting of GANNI’s Fall/Winter 2025 salon show, an evocative world of interiors unfolds—one that offers comfort, protection, and an innate sense of freedom. Time-worn textures and intricate tapestries strike a delicate balance between familiarity and opulence, while silhouettes envelop the body like a soft yet resilient armor. For the new season, the GANNI Woman finds herself at home, embracing a refined yet playful confidence as she returns to Paris Fashion Week. In a world fraught with uncertainty, she seeks solace in a wardrobe imbued with memory and sensation, drawing inspiration from the eclectic beauty of interior design.
The GANNI woman steps into a realm where maximalist prints and rich textures evoke the faded grandeur of domestic spaces. Ever elegant yet effortlessly experimental, she curates a layered, mismatched wardrobe, defined by cocooning shapes and exquisitely crafted, luxurious fabrics. Tailoring takes center stage, with sharp asymmetry in suiting, dramatic balloon sleeves adorning peacoats, and fluid dresses accented with pelmet-inspired details. Uninhibited and joyous, she navigates the interplay between interior and exterior worlds, draped in flared coats, voluminous skirts, and cape-detail blouses reminiscent of cascading curtains. The serenity of gardens manifests in tapestry-inspired rose jacquard mini dresses and oversized trousers, while hand-crocheted jumpers bloom with delicate petal motifs. Imperfection becomes her signature, as she carries the warmth of home into the streets—chunky clogs and floral tapestry kitten heels reimagine the coziness of house shoes, while fluffy bonnets and hoods appear in soft, powdery hues. The season also welcomes the debut of the new furry Kat Hobo and Mini Hobo bags, complementing the oversized XXL Hobo and the signature Bou bag, both crafted from upholstery-inspired fabrics.
GANNI’s commitment to innovation deepens through its ‘Fabrics of the Future’ initiative, refining its exploration of next-generation materials for Fall/Winter 2025. This season sees an extended collaboration with Pelinova, a pioneering textile crafted from pre-consumer recycled leather and TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, alongside cycora®, a recycled polyester derived from textile-to-textile recycling, and Oleatex™, a leather alternative developed from olive oil production waste. Select pieces showcase Celium, a bio-based leather alternative cultivated through bacterial fermentation, while sequins are reimagined in seaweed-derived compositions, replacing traditional plastic embellishments. Alongside these groundbreaking materials, the collection also embraces technical, armor-like textiles, with recycled wool and cashmere reinforcing the brand’s dedication to protective craftsmanship. Notably, GANNI introduces its first high-performance parka, designed in a Tri-Layer water- and wind-resistant recycled nylon ripstop.
“A home isn’t only a house; it’s anywhere you feel safest, happiest, and truly yourself. With this collection, I wanted to bring that essence to the GANNI Woman’s wardrobe—one that cocoons and protects, yet allows for self-expression. It’s an invitation to reconnect with spaces that make your heart feel most at ease. It’s about carrying that feeling with you, wherever you go, so home can follow you wherever you are.”
