Maison Gerald Charles is honored to announce that the Masterlink has won the first prize in the prestigious Luxury Watch of The Year category at the InhorGenta 2025 Award.
This recognition is a confirmation of the Maison’s excellence, celebrating its status as an undisputed leader in the luxury watch category, thanks to the invaluable distinction of the INHORGENTA Award, one of the most coveted and respected in the watchmaking and jewelry industry.
A particularly significant milestone, arriving on the 25th anniversary of the Maison, not only as a celebration of a quarter-century of innovation but also as a tribute to the legacy, craftsmanship, and extraordinary vision of Mr. Gérald Charles Genta, who has shaped and defined the brand with his passion and creative freedom. Through his unique vision, he transformed each timepiece into an icon – small but powerful expressions of luxury and innovation, such as the Masterlink.
The Masterlink would not exist without the illustrious legacy of Mr. Genta. This timepiece represents the first integrated asymmetric watch in the modern era of Gerald Charles, directly inspired by the Sarawak, the exclusive bespoke watch created by Mr. Genta in 2007, which remains the first and only watch with an integrated asymmetric bracelet designed by him.
This year’s competition saw 137 submissions across nine categories, an outstanding participation that highlights the quality and excellence of the competitors. Winning this award is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the Maison and an encouragement to continue pushing the boundaries of watchmaking artistry and excellence.
