The Pigeon Clutch Bag by JW Anderson, which has become a true cult item among celebrities and particularly within the street style scene, is now on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris as part of the “Louvre Couture: Art and Fashion – Statement Pieces” exhibition, running until July 21, 2025.

In January 2022, Anderson chose to showcase his ironic bag on the runway of the menswear collection. According to the designer himself, the Pigeon Clutch represents an iconic and easily recognizable element that evokes an immediate connection with the urban environment.

Emma Marrone wore the Pigeon Clutch on the Green Carpet at the 2024 Sanremo Festival, while shortly before, Rosalía had shared a photo of the bag on Instagram, still partially wrapped, lying on a bed. Television series stylists Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago were in search of an accessory that could symbolize the essence of New York and contemporary fashion. The answer came unmistakably when Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted by paparazzi with the Pigeon Clutch on her arm, a perfect tribute to the pigeon, considered the symbol of the Big Apple.
