For the Spring-Summer 2025 Collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, has created the look of a modern-day Amazon. “I wanted to create the makeup look of an active and dynamic woman, on the move, who has just completed some physical activity. Her skin is bright and dewy, and her gaze is intense, highlighted by the remnants of a stroke of khôl liner.”
Eyes
Peter Philips explains: “To create the effect of makeup displaced by physical exertion, I draw a strong line along the lower lash line with the Diorshow On Stage Crayon 099 Black, which I smudge and blend under the eyes. This messy and intense look is completed by eyebrows structured with Diorshow On Set Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler.”
Complexion
Peter Philips describes: “A fresh and healthy complexion, slightly dewy, subtly illuminated. I start by prepping the skin with Dior Capture Totale Le Sérum and Dior Capture Totale Hyalushot around the eye area. Then, I apply Dior Forever Skin Glow as a base, followed by Dior Forever Skin Contour, in shades 01 Light, 03 Medium, and 04 Deep to subtly sculpt. To give the effect of slightly flushed cheeks after exertion, I blend down under the cheekbones towards the lower part of the face, using one of the shades of Rouge Blush Colour & Glow 100 Diorissimo, 200 Diorama or 757 Wildior, depending on the skin tone.”
Lips
“Lips remain natural with Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil 000 Universal Clear, which I blot to reduce shine.”
Nails
“Nails have a natural finish with Dior Vernis 108 Muguet.”
Hair
Gathered in a low ponytail, the hair is adorned with a black double ribbon headband with white trim and marked with the “Christian Dior” logo.
