An encounter of extravagance and simplicity, of yesterday and today, of elegance and practicality, the Dior winter 2025-2026 collection dreamed up by Kim Jones is infused with notions of metamorphosis and evolution.
This season, the artistic director explores the transformation of men’s ready-to-wear. Inspired by the ligne h – conceived by Christian Dior for autumn-winter 1954-1955 – the looks are a celebration of men’s couture. A play of volumes is present throughout – from fitted to flared – particularly seen in the reinterpretation of ‘opera’ coats. Finishes, such as the exquisite drapery, display captivating effects of sheen, shadow and light; an idea of chiaroscuro.
Softly constructed bags are contrasted by more utilitarian accessories, while classic dress shoes and boots, magnified in weathered leather, are completed with a satin couture bow. A fusion of flamboyancy and excellence, the magic of creation shines forth and resonates in every silhouette.
