Prada launches its third collection and Prada Re-Nylon 2025 campaign collaboration with storytelling partner National Geographic CreativeWorks to explore the origins.

The Prada Group, which has always been involved in the deep link between fashion, culture and society, launched in 2019 together with the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission the educational SEA BEYOND with the aim of raising awareness on ocean conservation, and collaborates with National Geographic CreativeWorks to document the commitment to the Prada Re-Nylon collection. Prada Re-Nylon is the result of the regeneration of plastic waste collected in the ocean and from landfills, and it demonstrates the Group’s commitment to using innovative resources.

Prada Re-Nylon presents a series of documentary films starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Sadie Sink, together with SEA BEYONDer and Good Will Ambassador of the Valentina project Gottlieb and Giovanni Chimienti, alongside the experts from National Geographic. The new episodes of the series recount the respective journeys of Benedict Cumberbatch and Sadie Sink in Norway and Mexico: each short is an immersive experience that transports viewers behind the quintes, below sea level and even beyond.

In their exploration of the strengths and weaknesses of marine habitats, the short films trace a map of initiatives to protect them and are fully part of the main mission of SEA BEYOND: Spreading knowledge of the ocean to understand the importance of preserving it and commit to real change.
