The campaign for the COCO NEIGE 2024/25 collection, CHANEL’s winter sports line, has been shot by Juergen Teller at the iconic address of 31 rue Cambon. Here, the model Loli-Bahia embodies an irreverent modernity, reinterpreting the timeless codes and symbols of the House in the legendary setting of Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment and her Art Deco mirrored staircase.
Contrasts are striking. Loli-Bahia’s unabashed nonchalance juxtaposes with the hallowed nature of the space. A duality that perfectly reflects the dialogue between the eternal codes of CHANEL and the innovative approach of this collection that combines comfort and style with technical excellence.
The COCO NEIGE 2024/25 collection fuses the technicity of winter sportswear with a casual aesthetic inspired by the 1970s. On the staircase with its faceted mirrors – the epicentre of the CHANEL universe – Loli-Bahia wears a classic silhouette: a down jacket in technical fabric embellished with braid, a fine-knit sweater and a pair of white jeans fastened with a jewelled button. Trompe-l’œil technical fabrics evoke sophisticated textures, like this suede-effect ensemble in jersey – an original CHANEL material – as a bra, skin-tight leggings and little zip-up jacket. A black corduroy jumpsuit is chic and functional with head-to-toe allure.
Against the backdrop of the sophisticated apartment, Loli-Bahia’s natural insouciance highlights the audacity behind the spirit of the COCO NEIGE collection. Lounging on the floor, legs raised, she sports a cashmere and silk ensemble punctuated with camellias like little stylised clouds, and tangy-hued double Cs adding a mischievous edge to the collection. Seated on a beige wing chair, she gazes at the camera dressed in a navy blue technical jacquard ski jacket and trousers. The palette of signature beige tones, harmonising with the apartment’s fawn suede sofa, features as a velvet-effect coated canvas outfit that is both technical and elegant.
Accessories include quilted gloves, cowls and retro glacier sunglasses, complemented with quilted sneakers and shearling ankle boots. As the ultimate touch of elegance on the slopes, white and black skis and poles are signed with a double C.
