CHANEL Saint-Tropez Boutique

The CHANEL boutique in Saint-Tropez is an invitation to discover the universe of the House in an idyllic setting where elegance meets the Mediterranean art of living.

From 5 June 2024, the CHANEL boutique in Saint-Tropez took its place in the heart of the La Mistralée villa. After a major renovation led by the architect and long-time collaborator of the House, Peter Marino, this historic residence is transformed into a permanent showcase. While it has hosted the CHANEL Fashion collections every summer since 2011 in ephemeral settings, the boutique will now open every year, during the summer, to present the latest Ready-to-Wear collections, leather goods, accessories. , shoes and costume jewelry as well as a selection of watches and jewelry.

More than a boutique, the place evokes the spirit of a true vacation home. The facade with green shutters, cream walls and anthracite gray railings, combines the codes of CHANEL and the typical colors of Saint-Tropez. The summer villa and its glass roof open onto a Mediterranean garden, its pond and its pool house. An invitation to relax under the Côte d’Azur sun.

This new Saint-Tropez refuge was designed to echo La Pausa, a villa located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin entirely designed and decorated by Gabrielle Chanel and which holds a special place in the history of the House. The whitewashed walls, the stone staircase and a carousel of photographs projected on a giant screen resonate with this emblematic place. The cut-out mirrors, for their part, recall the folded mirror staircases at 31 rue Cambon. The spirit of CHANEL subtly permeates all spaces.
The entrance is dedicated to leather goods, accessories, scarves, costume jewelry and glasses. On the ground floor, there is also an exclusive selection of watchmaking creations, such as the iconic J12 or the emblematic Première and BOY.FRIEND, and the COCO CRUSH, Camélia, Comète and N°5 jewelry collections. An exceptional glass roof houses the shoe area. A unique chandelier, shade cloths and original furniture combining light fabrics and woven leather enhance the whole.

To access the floor dedicated to Ready-to-Wear, a stone staircase or an entirely glass elevator which emphasizes transparency and light. The Spring-Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection as well as the Métiers d’art 2023/24 collection unveiled last December in Manchester are presented there. Two spaces, each composed of a lounge and its dedicated fitting room, complete the floor. For an exclusive experience, one of them can be privatized. Hand-painted curtains modulate the surfaces in an airy and light way. Custom-designed rattan furniture, touches of powder pink, and raffia create a warm atmosphere, faithful to the Provençal spirit.

The works of art scattered throughout the store are a reminder of the unwavering bond that unites the Maison and the artists. Several sculptures bearing the image of the lion, nods to the astrological sign of Gabrielle Chanel, a painting by Georges Noël, a coffee table signed Agnès Debizet, two vases with a golden patina by Johan Creten, and eight ceramics painted by Pablo Picasso , faithful friend of Gabrielle Chanel, participate in the poetry of the place.

Crossing the mansion leads to the lush garden, a haven of peace with Mediterranean plants and old bricks. The pool decorated with glass paste specially made in Italy and the powder-toned pool house hosting the COCO BEACH collection by CHANEL reflect the essence of the French Riviera.
