The Maison Piaget celebrates its 150th anniversary with a virtuosic collection of High Jewelery that enhances the extravagance and elegance of a unique style. Paying homage to the incomparable workmanship of gold and colours, the watch and jewelery manufacturer offers around a hundred bold and sunny creations. The fluidity of the manchette bracelets and necklaces and the splendor of the gems that adorn them are amplified by the excellence of a savoir-faire mastered to perfection.

In 2024, to celebrate its 150 years of history, Piaget returns to the era of the Maison’s greatest creativity: the Sixties and Seventies.

“In 2022, when we started designing the 150th anniversary collection,” observes Stéphanie Sivrière, creative director of Piaget jewelry and watches, “we decided not to reproduce the models of the past identically, but to rework the boldness, the originality and elegance that they already expressed in those times and which characterize the soul of the Maison”.

Crafted to extraordinary standards in Piaget’s High Jewelery ateliers in Geneva, these 96 models represent an invitation to celebrate an art of living as joyful and refined, as extravagant and colorful as jewelery creations.

With “Essence of Extraleganza” gold becomes the protagonist, and gems the stylistic elements. The women and men who wear these creations are free beings who want to stand out. Through a rare richness in terms of design and thanks to a variety of stones and models, the 150th anniversary collection presents its jewels within the three emblematic universes of Piaget: “Extraleganza”, “Piaget Society” and “When mastery ignites artistry”.

EXTRALEGANCE
The first chapter, whose name comes from the contraction of the terms “extravagance” and “elegance”, reveals the creative spirit of the jeweler and his taste for the avant-garde, which makes gold and light shine through models with extraordinary stones.

PIAGET SOCIETY
The second chapter celebrates Piaget’s bold and distinctive approach to jewellery. The theme is the colorful sets whose design and contrasting gems are a metaphor for the eventful life of the wearer.

MASTERY AT THE SERVICE OF ART

Thanks to the influence of the virtuosity of the Maison’s artisans and Piaget’s historic taste for couture, the third chapter gives gold a thousand precious textures and a new fluidity. Symbolizing Piaget’s dual savoir-faire as a watchmaker and jeweler, this one-of-a-kind collection highlights the Maison’s perfectionism in every detail, and fuses the past with the present to create a new virtuosity.
